Have you been on
the forums or around truck buddies and heard the term “death wobble”, and
didn’t know what they were talking about?
Death wobble is
a term used to describe when your vehicle hits a bump in the road or deep
groove’s and is transferred back to the steering wheel with shaking and
vibrating. This can be very dangerous
and could end up causing you to lose control of your vehicle depending on the
severity.
Well good thing
that BD Power has designed and built
one of the best adjustable track bars on the market today. BD Power knew this was going to have to
strong, so they started with a 1 3/8″ drop forged solid bar that has poly
bushings that can take a serious beating.
This is far superior to the factory’s OEM ball joint design that can
become sloppy and wear out prematurely, leaving you to keep replacing it all
the time. The whole idea behind the
track bar is to keep the front axle centered under the vehicle and to prevent
any side to side motion and allow the axle to move around. The increase in bar diameter along with the
addition of a much stronger bushing makes the BD track bar far more capable of
keeping the truck under control. To be
honest, this is what the truck should have come from the factory with in the
first place.
