BD Power Adjustable Track Bar Kits Dodge Cummins 5.9/6.7L 1994-2012

Have you been on the forums or around truck buddies and heard the term “death wobble”, and didn’t know what they were talking about?

Death wobble is a term used to describe when your vehicle hits a bump in the road or deep groove’s and is transferred back to the steering wheel with shaking and vibrating.  This can be very dangerous and could end up causing you to lose control of your vehicle depending on the severity.

Well good thing that BD Power has designed and built one of the best adjustable track bars on the market today.  BD Power knew this was going to have to strong, so they started with a 1 3/8″ drop forged solid bar that has poly bushings that can take a serious beating.  This is far superior to the factory’s OEM ball joint design that can become sloppy and wear out prematurely, leaving you to keep replacing it all the time.  The whole idea behind the track bar is to keep the front axle centered under the vehicle and to prevent any side to side motion and allow the axle to move around.  The increase in bar diameter along with the addition of a much stronger bushing makes the BD track bar far more capable of keeping the truck under control.  To be honest, this is what the truck should have come from the factory with in the first place.

Another really nice feature with this track bar is it’s adjustable, simply tighten or loosen the center link to allow for a longer or shorter bar.  What this means is you can use the same track bar on a stock height vehicle all the way to one with up to a 4″ lift on it.  So if you ever decide in the future that you want to put a lift kit on your truck, you can still use this same bar, saving you money.  Almost everybody that has purchased this and installed it on their vehicle has said how much better there truck drives and that they wish they would have acted sooner on it.  This is the same one we use here at DieselOps on our street trucks and from firsthand experience you can’t go wrong at all!

APPS/TPs signal conditioner for 24V 98-02 Cummins

The APPS/TPs signal conditioner for 24V 98-02 Cummins by ATS fixes a handful of issues that are found in the 24v 98-02 cummins

What does the APPS/TPs signal conditioner for 24V 98-02 Cummins do?

The 98-02 24 valve cummins has a very large and vary common issue, it will “hunt” for 4th gear. The hunting in and out of lockup or between 3rd and 4th gears is a very common problem that plagues many trucks and causes many issues with just trying to daily drive your vehicle none the less attempting to work the vehicle can be very dangerous.

How does the APPS/TPs signal conditioner for 24V 98-02 Cummins for work?

The ATS APPS/TPs signal conditioner for 24V 98-02 Cummins works very simply but is designed very well. It may look simple but was very painstakingly thought out and put through many rigorous tests to make sure that there was no issues and make sure that it worked for the everyday man and everyday working truck as well as it would work for the guy trying to get every ounce of power out of the truck and work the work on the street or strip. The APPS/TPs signal conditioner for 24V 98-02 Cummins works by conditioning the TPS signal which allows the transmission to have better shift characteristics. The factory TCM tune is very sensitive. By adding the APPS / TPS Signal Conditioner the signal to the TCM will not be as dramatic, ATS has made a quality product here that will do the job without hurting the wallet.

Overall the ATS APPS/TPs signal conditioner for 24V 98-02 Cummins is one of the first things you should check for when buying a used 24 valve and if it doesn’t have it then it should be the first purchase for that truck.
